New floor pans we fabricated and welded in. So was the cross member and trunk floor. All of which have been treated with an anti-rust agent, to seal the pores of the new metal panels.
Rocker panels were fabricated and fit into place.
The rocker panels have been installed (with the original seam where it meets the quarter panel).
Even the door jambs required some attention.
New quarter panel replacement panels are fitted to remove all of the rust, in and around, the rear wheel arches.
The quarter panel repair also takes the trunk area into consideration. We want to make sure that this car looks as good from the inside as it does from the outside!
Rust was removed from behind the front wheel area.
New metal pieces are fabricated and installed at the front wheel arch area.
After all of the panels have been carefully fitted and properly adjusted, the seams are covered with filler to ensure a smooth transition from original to replacement panel.
The lip around the rear of the car was in very poor condition. A new piece was fabricated to the original specifications.
